 LAND RESOURCES


Land is the basis for agriculture and other rural land uses, encompassing soil, climate, vegetation.

 All natural resources land is certainly the most important. Man and other living being use it for their habitation.It is also the basis of most or the primary productive activities which are so essential for human existence.

The term" LAND RESOURCES" encompasses the physical, biotic, environment, infrastructure of a natural land unit, including surface and near surface water resources important for management.

  LAND AS RESOURCE; 

.The most important natural resources,upon which all human activity is based since time immemorial is land.....

. Land resource is our basic resources.

. Throughout history: we have drawn most of our sustenance and much of our fuel ⛽, clothing 👕,and shelter 🏠from the land.

. It is useful to us as a source of food ,as a place to live ,work and play.It is a productive economic factor in agriculture, forestry, grazing, fishing and mining.

SOIL EROSION

The literal meaning of soli Erosion is wearing away from soil . Soil erosion is defined as the movement of soil components especially surface top soil from one place to another place.


Soli Erosion results in the loss of fertility because it is the top soil layer which is fertile.
